Aston Martin At Foxwoods

Foxwoods Casino invited Aston Martin to participate in a high stakes Black Jack tournament at their gaming resort, Aston Martin was to provide the winnings for the event including a luxury vehicle. The team at FosterMartin advertising was challenged with creating the logo for the event, and subsequently the collateral material that would be deployed across printed, web, digital, and physical advertisements across the casino grounds and surrounding areas for promoting the event as part of their 25th anniversary series.

COMPLICATIONS

As is usually the case with high profile events, deadlines are tightly monitored and information may be limited until days before the event is to take place. Multiple revisions are needed for consideration in a short time frame, and any design that is created must be fluid enough to be easily converted into other types of collateral at a moments notice. No information about the event is shared outside of what is needed to be known, to prevent the general public from gaining any advantage in preparation beforehand.


SOLUTIONS

The team at FosterMartin Advertising presented several logo options to the client to choose from, opting for a simple branding that did not take away from the iconic Aston Martin logo branding for the event. Once the logo was created and media was received with the luxury vehicle model that was to be presented, the task at hand was to mock up and present collateral that also included the grounds at Foxwoods in the imagery. Several revisions later the client decided on a design look and feel, allowing for swift operationalization of the advertisements, deadlines were met early for the purpose of change allowance, while minimal post deployment changes occurred.
